biography

Mutsuyo Kamiya explores contemporary expression (the form and the theme) in plastic figurative sculpture. Materials include bronze, terracotta, and plaster. Currently, she continues to work as a sculptor in parallel with her activities as a researcher in early childhood modeling and art education. Through the presentation of her works, she aims to revitalize citizen art activities and to examine the social potential of art in terms of childcare and continuing education.
